How do I put a dish on the table?
Drag any of the three dishes on the serving tray and let go with a flick. A gentle flick slides it a little way; a fast one sends it to the far end. Where it comes to rest is where it’s served.
What does 12첩 mean?
A 첩 (cheop) is a covered side dish, and a traditional table is named for how many it holds: 3첩 for a simple meal, up to 12첩 for the royal 수라상. Each level asks for a bigger spread for more diners.
How is my table scored?
Every dish that settles on the table scores, and the more you fit, the bigger the multiplier. Pair dishes that go together, set the five colors of 오방색 side by side, keep each dish within a diner’s reach, and serve early for a time bonus. The receipt at the end shows every line.
What happens if something falls?
It breaks on the floor and costs you points. Hit a rice bowl, soup bowl, or a diner’s spoon and chopsticks too hard and they can be knocked off too, which costs more.
When should I tap serve?
Whenever the table looks ready. Serving early banks a bonus for the time left. If the clock runs out, the table is served for you without one.
What are the 다도 levels?
Between the bigger tables come three tea ceremonies. Instead of 반찬, you set a teapot, a cooling bowl, a tea caddy, and three cups onto a bamboo grate. Each one has a smaller grate than the last.
Can I share my table?
Yes. After the receipt, tap share table to send a picture of your spread anywhere the share sheet can.
